I have always moved between disciplines – fine arts, math, psychology, technology. After years working in the videogame and metaverse industry, I returned to my studio practice in 2026, bringing a new technical and conceptual vocabulary to my research on perception.
My work spans painting, generative art and interactive installations. Under the name Dizfoø I explore optical illusions and perceptual ambiguity through algorithmic and generative systems.
My work explores the intersection between psychological perception and pictorial practice, investigating the thin boundary between what exists and what the mind decides to see and, consequently, trying to represent the objectivity of the subjective perceptions. White background as experience field, chalk texture as material memory, golden forms with black shadows as presence: each work is an open system, waiting to be completed by the viewer’s gaze.
This inquiry into the objectivity of subjective perception extends into the digital through generative and interactive works, where algorithms and sensors make visible what normally remains implicit: the dialogue between system and observer, between rule and interpretation.
Perception is not reception: it is construction.
