About

My work investigates the perceptual act as the foundational structure of lived reality. Not perception as a passive receiver of the world — but as the force that constructs it. What we call science, God, the sense of being alive: these are different answers that perception gives to itself.

The painting language is built on three stable elements. Gold — the perceptual act: not what is, but what a mind builds from what is. The gold carries the same dimension as the gilded grounds of Byzantine icons — not physical light, but uncreated light, the divine act. It is warm, imprecise at the edges, unstable in light. Exactly like perception. White textured ground — the infinite field of possibilities, all light present simultaneously before one reality is chosen. Shadow — the concreteness of what has been perceived, its trace in the world.

On the back of every canvas there is a sewn drawing that coincides exactly with the gold form on the front. It is never seen in exhibition. Only the owner knows both sides. The viewer sees an incomplete object. The owner holds the complete structure — the visible act and the hidden mechanism that generated it. This is the literal architecture of perception: what determines everything remains unseen.

The practice extends across painting, generative art, and formal research. Each medium is a different answer to the same question. The generative work makes it algorithmic: every hash is a different mind constructing a different reality from the same system. The formal research — SPIM, published on arXiv in 2026 — builds a Riemannian geometric space in which each observer is a point, and the distance between observers measures the structural divergence of their perceptual models.

Different tools. The same investigation.
